We can't wait. I keep thinking about all of the "wifely" things I get to do! It's exciting. Now don't get me wrong, I know marriage is work... but I'm willing to do the work. Especially for Joshie- he means the world to me.
I just recently went through a tough time, finishing school and losing an old friend. Josh was there for me through the entire thing. All of it made me of course draw nearer to God... but closer to Joshua as well. Josh and I are best friends... we always have been. When we first started dating, Josh would lay on the floor of my bedroom at my apt. and hold my hand from the floor as we talked about anything and everything that came to our minds- God, relationships, friends, family, and even video games. He would stay up late with me when I had a paper to write make me go to the computer lab. We had a ton of fun just clowning around... even though sometimes he took it toooooo far. Most everyone has heard about the time he put me in the shower with my clothes, shoes, and backpack still on from school. Oh Josh... I will get you back one day. He even had the patience to teach me how to play MLB on his playstation and we would frequently sit in the living room and play for hours... until I broke his playstation. You know.. now that I think about it... he hasn't played with me since! Hmmm?!?!?!
Anyway-I have so much respect for Joshua and I know that God orchestrated our first meeting in 2002 and our relationship years later. I'm smitten-- It's official. Okay I'm done with the mushy gushy stuff... each time I blog now... our countdown gets a little closer. (I just couldn't start it past a year out... who says it's 500something days until my wedding... um.. no one). Just in case you were wondering we have:
365 days
or 8,760 hours
or 525,600 minutes
or about 31,536,000 seconds
until our WEDDING!!!! WHOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
We are going on a really special vacation this weekend- July 4th weekend with some friends. It will mark the start of July 4th weekends to come. On the next one... we'll be husband and wife.
God is good :)
PEACE!
