So about 2 weeks ago, that cute lil fiance of mine gets on to me... "Carla, we need to be updating the blog regularly-- it's actually time to start documenting this engagement experience if not for anyone else for ourselves"
"You know honey", I say, "I think you're right... so how often should we do it"
"Um... at least 4 times a week Carla... you can do it twice, and I'll do it twice"
"Wow, that's a lot Joshua", I say-- but he convinces me other wise...
"Make time for it. It's important. Don't you want to look back on our days as an engaged couple and know that we've written down the memories?"
I think to myself, yes... yes I do. What a sweetheart. I start writing... "Um Joshua, you haven't updated the blog yet... want me to still do another?"
I write again... "JOSHUA DAVID, when are you going to update the blog?!?! Remember twice a week for each of us... you know the whole documenting our engagement thing?"
And here I am writing yet another blog... so what If i haven't stuck to the 2 times a week thing, I've done better than him! And I'm in the middle of some major tests for my M.Ed. Now if he's not a slacker, I don't know who is.
Joshua... you owe me 4 blogs. Pronto.
So a quick wedding update- As you know... we are less than a year out. I'm super duper excited. God has blessed us so much during our first year of engagement and I'm excited to see how he continues to bless us this next year. I went to lunch with my awesome friend Jolie today and for once, my thoughts about what I liked hadn't changed. I have colors in mind that I've liked for more than a week. I've interviewed a few photographers and know what I want. I'm on it. I can't wait to get some things planned. If you're a bridesmaid of mine (there are so stinking many of you) get ready-- some info. is coming your way. I wouldn't consider myself a bridezilla, but this ain't gonna be no "show up the day of" thing for you :) LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
