If you know me... you know I've been "wedding planning" for like over a year now. I got engaged on May 7th of last year and I thumbed through hundreds of wedding magazines and joined like a thousand wedding websites. You can look me up on any of them! I planned ahead. I booked my church way in advance, I booked my reception site way in advance. I bought THE DRESS. I have a photograher. I have awesome friends who help me find stuff online, but I can't do ONE simple thing. Pick my wedding colors. Ugh. Picking colors is a huge deal. It's a decision that is made almost a year in advance based on my current tastes. Who's to say that I'll like "matisse blue" when next July rolls around.
Now don't get me wrong, I have wedding colors, but I second guess them like everyday. My mother thinks they should be brighter.... other people just go "oh, i like it"... no one has the reaction that I do about the colors I picked. Part of me wants to just go "eh, who cares it's my wedding!"... and part of me is like "um, am I colorblind or something?"
I usually listen to the second part. Anyway- Josh is, of course, no help with this endeavor. He says "I'm fine with whatever colors you pick". Yeah-- that's exactly what I want to hear. Anywho- I'm scouting out J.Crew bridesmaid dresses and loving them. I think I'm going to make a move with that soon :)
We shall see. Anywho, time for us to finally get a wedding website up. We've been working on it little by little over the past few weeks and should be done soon!! We have quite a few people to mention on it if ya know what I mean!
Anywho- tonight I'm working at Hockaday and have planned for this time to be a major wedding planning night! Tomorrow it's back to "real world" stuff-- my job. Hopefully, I'll have some updates for you soon, and hopefully I'll still like matisse blue!
